We had four contests running last weekend, each with a $2 entry and a free entry. Over 50 entries were submitted for the 4 contests.
IM 70.3 Mallorca had some big names taking the top three honors, including professional triathletes Lionel Sanders and Joe Skipper. As you can see, the free contest had entries that could have won money if they had placed a $2 wager on their picks. Don’t be scared to throw some money on your picks, Badgersfan4 and RobAllen!
IM 70.3 Vietnam had a familiar face at the top again – professional triathlete and TRS Triathlon guest author Emily Cocks. She has continued her hot streak and has the strategy to keep it going:
“My strategy was to pick anyone who is on the Bahrain13 Endurance team.”
– Emily Cocks
We had the same instance here, where the top 3 from the free contest could have collected some winnings in the $2 entry game. I am calling out you nick-klonne, dhr, and Badgersfan4 – EmilyCocks needs some competition in the paid contests.
“Going into Vietnam 70.3, I was really unsure of the prep work that I’ve been doing. This is only my second competition of the season, so it was really hard to tell where I’m at in my levels of preparation. Winning over the weekend was a huge confidence booster for me, and I’m really excited to see how the rest of my season plays out.”
Thanks to everybody that played this past weekend. Do not be scared to lay money on your picks, we have a variety of entry fees available to play every weekend.
This weekend we have over 10 contests available, based on four different events: IM Texas, ITU Yokohama, and Challenge Knoxville. The contests range from FREE to $100. If you would like to request a contest or go head to head with a friend, please contact me at our FAQ/Support page.
