Zach, I appreciate the fact that you want to ask me questions, but I don’t really have time for this nonsense. Obviously, I’m smarter than everyone else and that’s why I won the money. More gratifying than winning the money was the fact that TRS Triathlon raked 10% of the pot to start with. #winning
As for Brad Williams, the so-called pro triathlete and fantasy guru, he obviously met his match when he “stepped up” to the $50 game to face a champion such as myself. He should probably stick with the $2 games so that he doesn’t go broke and can continue to feel good about himself winning a few dollars off of a bunch of babies.
My thoughts on this game can best be summarized by a quote from Will from the Oscar winning movie Good Will Hunting. “Do you have any fuckin’ idea how easy this is for me? This is a fuckin’ joke.”

I was nervous since I knew everyone was trying to beat me! I tried to keep it simple, pick a few “under the radar” type racers but not get too fancy or second guess myself. I made one last minute change that cost me a few points but luckily I was still able to pull out the victory.

I started of playing the free games as I didn’t know all of the professionals and was making guesses based on who’s names I did know.
I started watching and listening to you and Emily to make my picks. The information that Emily gives out is wonderful and will not make any picks until after hearing from her. Well I do make my picks and many of them are right now with what she has to say. I really use it for the men’s race as I don’t know them as well. I am a big supporter of #50womentokona so I know more about the women’s side.I am having a great time playing along, but it did take me a little before making the jump to the $2 game. Which I did very well on my first try.

I would say that for this race, I had 3 obvious picks on both sides, but then it became a bit more of a toss-up. I read a little into Thorsten’s ratings a bit for the race too, because I was less familiar with those athletes. I do think Ben has been hustling us all along and was baiting every fantasy triathlon player with his consistent last place finishes, just so he could set up a $50 game and win.

I figured everyone would take the same few top 3 names so it would come down to the 4th and 5th spots. I saw a video of Ruth Brennan-Morrey flying on a treadmill…totally reminded me of a mini Rinny, although not sure how much more mini you can get. Knowing it would be hot as balls out there, that video sealed the deal for my 5th female slot and proved to be the difference maker.

Like the Taidarians, i only play for money… And I don’t get phased by any Jedi tricks my opponents might try to pull.
To all the other players dismay, I quite like this game and look forward to taking their money on a regular basis.

Looks like Thorsten took me out for the 2nd time, with him winning Brazil and Frankfurt, and myself winning Texas. I send him congratulations and hope I can regain my dignity later in the year. Looks like I need to start listening to @TheRealStarky and @EmilyCocks more.

Long Course Fantasy Updates
A salary system, like the current ITU, will be coming for all long course contests. This system will primarily be used for Championship and higher profile races. Test contests, paid and free, will be available before the championship races to get yourself ready.
The scoring system has change to accommodate for the increase in points for Championship races. Please review the FAQ/Support page for the newest rules.
