TRS Radio presents Episode 44: “Gay Challenges”

MANAMA, BAHRAIN - NOVEMBER 04: CEO of Challenge Zibi Szlufcik chats to the media during a press conference ahead of the Challenge Triathlon Bahrain on May 04, 2014 in Rimini, Bahrain. (Photo by Charlie Crowhurst/Getty Images for Challenge Triathlon)

First off, we hear from TRS Radio Chief Gay Correspondent, Brandon Del Campo. Ben and Brandon discuss his background, the SCOTUS decision re: gay marriage and whether or not triathlon is a gay sport. Brandon was recently profiled by Slowtwitch, a lightly trafficked and very dated website featuring pictures of bicycles.

Next, Ben discusses the idea of adding a second show to the TRS Radio portfolio. A negotiation with the audience ensues.

Finally, Ben catches up with Zibi about all things Challenge including the Triple Crown, changes to their leadership in the Middle East, the dark shadow that follows Challenge all around the world, human rights and the reduction in pro prize purses in the Americas.
